Education GP Project Chusen dyeing “b・tan nugui”
In the b・tan nugui project, students learn the traditional Japanese method of dyeing tenugui towels, “chosen,” and commercialize tenugui with designs inspired by students’ fresh ideas. At the same time, they remake b-tan, or grade-B tenugui that will not be sold in the market simply due to minor dyeing irregularity, into sensible products with the help of craftsmen.
